Fatal Nashville Tennessee hit-and-run crash death of Larissa Houston – Obituary

Larissa Houston, age 23, lost her life following a hit-and-run incident in Antioch, Nashville, on the night of Wednesday, May 21. Houston was crossing Bell Road on an electric bicycle around 10:30 p.m. when she was struck by an SUV whose driver fled the scene without stopping.

The vehicle, believed to be a red SUV based on crash debris, was last seen near I-24 and Bell Road running multiple red lights at high speed. Houston was rushed to a Nashville-area hospital in critical condition but died early Thursday morning from her injuries.

Police continue to search for the suspect and urge anyone with information to contact authorities at 615-742-7463. The crash caused temporary closure of Bell Road between Rice Road and Hickory Highlands Drive while investigators worked the scene.
