Fatal Forest County ATV crash death of Shawn M. Salapata – Obituary

Shawn M. Salapata, 42, from McDonald, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle ATV accident on May 17 during the Tour de Forest Spring Ride in Forest County, Pennsylvania.

The crash took place near Kellettville on Forest Road 180 and was determined to be accidental, with blunt force trauma as the cause of death.

Salapata, who worked for the U.S. Postal Service, is being honored through private memorial services. His family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Marienville Volunteer Fire Company as a tribute to his life.
