Fatal Ellsworth County car crash death of Timothy Lee Fosdick – Obituary

A tragic accident occurred Thursday night in Ellsworth County, resulting in the death of 63-year-old Timothy Lee Fosdick of Holyrood. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported the incident took place at approximately 9:35 p.m. on K156 near K140.

A 2024 Volkswagen traveling westbound and carrying five individuals, including its driver, 42-year-old Jose Manuel Quintanilla of Garden City, struck Fosdick as he was attempting to cross the road on foot. Fosdick died at the scene, and his body was transported to Frontier Forensics.

Authorities confirmed that all five occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts and did not sustain any injuries.
