Fatal East Austin car crash death of Diana Hernandez Campuzano – Obituary

Diana Hernandez Campuzano, 18, lost her life Saturday morning following a two-vehicle collision in East Austin, according to the Austin Fire Department.

The crash occurred around 9:15 a.m. in the 7000 block of FM 969, where two vehicles collided head-on. Emergency crews arrived to find four individuals involved in the crash, all listed as trauma alerts.

Despite life-saving efforts, Diana Hernandez Campuzano was pronounced dead at the scene. The other three individuals, all adults, were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center. One was critically injured, while the remaining two sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not yet released further details about the cause of the collision, and the investigation is ongoing.
