Luvina McCann dies in fatal Flint shooting

Fatal Flint shooting death of Luvina McCann – Obituary

Luvina McCann, an 18-year-old mother, was tragically shot and killed on Flint’s west side in the early hours of April 27. The shooting occurred around 2:05 a.m. in the 2600 block of Thomas Street, where McCann was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to her mother, Marquita Powers, McCann was struck five times and died from her injuries. At the time of her death, McCann was 13 weeks pregnant and was already raising her 8-month-old daughter.

Family members are urging anyone with knowledge about the incident or the individual responsible to come forward and assist in the investigation.
