Fatal Westfield, New York semitruck crash death of Larry Littlejohn – Obituary

Larry Littlejohn, a 41-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was killed Thursday when his semitruck collided with a cement pillar on Interstate 90 East in Westfield, New York.

New York State Police reported that Littlejohn was driving a 2023 Freightliner box truck eastbound on I-90 when the vehicle veered onto the left shoulder and ultimately struck a cement pillar supporting the Hawley Street overpass.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the 10:15 a.m. crash but Littlejohn was pronounced dead on site. Authorities have scheduled an autopsy at Erie County Medical Center to determine further details.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
