Fatal Nashville stabbing death of Kelton King – Obituary

Authorities with the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed on Friday that the man found deceased in the Cumberland River near the Donelson neighborhood on Tuesday has been identified as 43-year-old Kelton King.

According to police reports, a boater discovered King’s body just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim was wearing a red shirt labeled “Dyersburg Dental Associates” and appeared to have been submerged in the river for several days.

Investigators suspect the cause of death was a stabbing and are treating the case as a homicide.
