Missing woman Parisa found dead in Sudbury discovery
Sudbury discovery of missing woman Parisa – Obituary
Authorities have confirmed that Parisa, a 39-year-old woman who vanished on April 7 near Corsi Hill in Sudbury, was found dead earlier this week. Her remains were discovered around 2:05 p.m. on May 21 in Junction Creek by a police cadaver dog named Scout.
The recovery took place close to the Junction Creek trail by Kelly Lake Road, according to police reports.
On May 23, a post-mortem examination was conducted through the Coroner’s Office to help determine both the identity and cause of death.
Investigators have stated there is currently no indication of foul play or any criminal activity related to her death.
Police extended heartfelt sympathies to Parisa’s loved ones and urged the public to allow them privacy as they cope with their loss.
From the time she was reported missing, law enforcement carried out weekly search efforts involving land, air, and water teams in hopes of locating her.
