Jeremy S. Lumpkin dies in fatal Morgan County car crash

Fatal Morgan County car crash death of Jeremy S. Lumpkin – Obituary

Jeremy S. Lumpkin, a 39-year-old man from Huntsville, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday in Morgan County, Alabama.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash took place around 10:55 a.m. Lumpkin was driving a 2009 Lexus RX SUV when the vehicle veered off the road, rolled over, and collided with a tree.

Authorities reported that Lumpkin was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and was thrown from the SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

The collision happened on Alabama Highway 67, close to Ryan Loop Road, roughly three miles north of Hulaco.

Troopers from ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
