Fatal Midwest City shooting death of Ethan Buycks – Obituary

Ethan Buycks, a 21-year-old man from Oklahoma City, was shot and killed late Friday night during a large party in Midwest City. Police responded around 10:20 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 3300 block of North Oak Grove, near Northeast 10th Street and Air Depot Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers found several people fleeing the scene and discovered Buycks lying on a front lawn with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders attempted life-saving efforts before transporting him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators revealed the shooting occurred at an open-invitation pool party attended by over 100 high school graduates. Authorities have questioned local residents but have yet to identify a suspect.
