Barnet, England Man Arrested in Brent for Fatal Stabbing

BRENT, ENGLAND — A man in his 20s from Barnet was arrested on Thursday in Brent on suspicion of murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of 26-year-old Ali Faris Muhammad of Harrow.

According to the Metropolitan Police, Muhammad died following an altercation that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 18 May, on Kingsbury Road, NW9. Officers were called to the scene at 03:31 hrs and found Muhammad with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital but later died despite medical efforts.

The suspect was taken into custody and remains detained as the investigation continues. Muhammad’s next of kin are being supported by specially trained officers.
