Antonio Wooten dies in fatal Peach County motorcycle crash

Fatal Peach County motorcycle crash death of Antonio Wooten – Obituary

Antonio Wooten, 38, from Alamo, Georgia, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Highway 49 near Byron on Sunday afternoon.

According to Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks, Wooten was riding northbound when a vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, turned left onto Highway 49 from Spooner Drive, crossing into Wooten’s path. The front of the car collided with the right side of Wooten’s Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Wooten was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:05 p.m. The driver of the Corolla sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The Georgia State Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash to determine the full circumstances surrounding the collision.
