Damian Carr, also known as ‘Turks,’ a 35-year-old laborer from the Windsor district of St Ann’s Bay, tragically lost his life early on Sunday morning, May 25, 2025. Carr was walking along the AGR Byfield Highway at about 5:25 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene without stopping. Emergency responders took Carr to St Ann’s Bay Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
