Kimberl Gedeon, a 21-year-old resident of New Bedford, was fatally shot Monday night in an incident that remains under active investigation. The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Gedeon was the victim who was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk near the intersection of Bedford Street and South Seventh Street around 9:10 p.m.
