Fatal Rancho Dominguez-Gardena crash death of Yoni Tunche Dieguez – Obituary

A deadly collision involving multiple vehicles claimed the life of 19-year-old Yoni Tunche Dieguez early Monday morning near the border of West Rancho Dominguez and Gardena.

The California Highway Patrol received reports of the crash around 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of West Redondo Beach Boulevard and Broadway Street. Witnesses at the scene indicated that two or three vehicles, including a white sedan, were involved in the accident.

Dieguez was found unresponsive on the sidewalk and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the sequence of events that led to the tragic crash.
