Fatal DeWitt motorcycle crash death of Victor Jensen – Obituary
Victor Jensen, a 19-year-old resident of Manlius, was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in DeWitt, New York.
The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Nottingham Road, near The Nottingham retirement community. Authorities say Jensen was riding westbound when his motorcycle collided with a Subaru Crosstrek that was heading east and turning into the retirement facility.
Following the impact, Jensen was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to Upstate University Hospital but did not survive.
The driver of the Subaru, 59-year-old Michael Page of Chatham, Massachusetts, was unharmed. However, a passenger in his vehicle was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening neck injury.
DeWitt Police are still investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed at this time.
