Fatal Bryans Road ATV crash death of Nathan Ellsworth Proctor – Obituary

Nathan Ellsworth Proctor, 41, of Bryans Road, was killed late Monday night when the ATV he was riding veered off Shiloh Church Road and hit a tree.

Deputies from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2700 block of Shiloh Church Road around 11:28 p.m. on May 26 after receiving reports of a vehicle crash. Investigators determined that Proctor was operating an ATV when it left the roadway and collided with a tree. Emergency responders administered aid, but he was later declared dead.

Authorities also revealed that the ATV, believed to be a red YFZ 450 or a similar model, was removed from the crash site by an unknown individual before officers arrived.
