Fatal Thorndike ATV crash death of Trevor Mcavey – Obituary

Trevor Mcavey, a 47-year-old man from Arizona, tragically passed away after an ATV accident in Thorndike, Maine, over the Memorial Day weekend. According to Maine Game Wardens, Mcavey lost control of his 2003 Polaris Scrambler and crashed into trees along Fowler Road sometime on Sunday evening.

His body was discovered the next morning by a woman who found the overturned ATV in the wooded area near Fowler Road around 9 a.m. Mcavey was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have indicated that the incident was accidental. The local community mourns the loss of Mcavey as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
