Fatal Buckingham County car crash death of Jane O. Brown – Obituary

A tragic accident in Buckingham County, Virginia, claimed the life of 64-year-old Jane O. Brown of New Canton over the weekend.

According to the Virginia State Police, the crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. on Saturday along Cartersville Road, close to its intersection with North James Madison Highway. Authorities say Brown was driving a 2007 Mazda 6 eastbound when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and overturned.

The car eventually struck a tree, and Brown, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is currently under investigation. Brown’s death was one of seven fatalities recorded across Virginia during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
