Fatal Melbourne motorcycle crash death of Joshua Risby Garcia – Obituary

MELBOURNE, Fla. — A tragic motorcycle collision on Wednesday morning claimed the life of 40-year-old Joshua Risby Garcia, according to the Melbourne Police Department.

 

Authorities reported that the crash took place on South Harbor City Boulevard when a passenger vehicle exited a parking lot and pulled into Garcia’s path. The motorcycle collided with the vehicle, leaving Garcia unresponsive at the scene.

 

Emergency responders from Brevard County Fire Rescue attempted to revive him, but he succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.

 

Police stated that the occupants of the other vehicle received treatment for minor injuries.

 

Melbourne Police have launched a traffic homicide investigation into the incident. Anyone with details about the crash is urged to contact Officer Costello at (321) 616-6027.

 

Joshua Risby Garcia is being remembered by those who knew him as a passionate individual whose life was cut short by a sudden and tragic event.
