Fatal Boston beating death of Tatyiana Flood – Obituary

Tatyiana Flood, a 21-year-old woman, was found dead outside an apartment complex on Annunciation Road in Boston early in the morning on May 20, 2025. Authorities say she died as a result of a brutal beating.

Boston police responded to the scene around 6 a.m., where they discovered Flood’s body lying outside the building. The investigation led to the arrest of 36-year-old Kevin Boyette, also of Boston. Initially charged with assault, Boyette’s charges have now been upgraded to murder as the investigation has progressed.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that Boyette remains in custody and is scheduled to be arraigned on the murder charge in Boston Municipal Court in Roxbury on Friday.

Officials have not yet disclosed what led to the attack. The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement continues to piece together the events surrounding Flood’s tragic death.
