Uyani Jones, a 10-year-old girl, was among two victims who lost their lives in a stabbing incident at a home in Streamwood, Illinois, on Wednesday night.

The fatal attack took place around 7:50 p.m. inside a residence on the 1600 block of McKool Avenue. Alongside Uyani, 21-year-old Janiya Jenkins was also found dead at the scene, according to local authorities and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Authorities have named 25-year-old Jalonie Jenkins as the suspect in the case. He is currently considered armed and dangerous, with his last known whereabouts reported in Bensenville. Police have urged the public to call 911 immediately if they see him but to avoid any direct contact.

Officials confirmed that the investigation into the events leading up to the stabbings is ongoing. They have not released any details about the relationship between the victims and the suspect.
