Kevin Ester dies in fatal Shreveport shooting

Fatal Shreveport shooting death of Kevin Ester – Obituary

Kevin Ester, a 15-year-old boy from Shreveport, was fatally shot on Parkhurst Street on Tuesday evening.

According to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office, the shooting took place shortly after 8:20 p.m. in the 3100 block of Parkhurst Street near Prentiss Avenue. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 8:25 p.m. and found Ester wounded. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries early Wednesday morning at 5:40 a.m.

This marks the 15th homicide in Shreveport for the year. Authorities have ordered an autopsy and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made, and police are seeking any information from witnesses to assist in the ongoing investigation.
