Fatal Washington, D.C. shooting death of Henry Crutchfield – Obituary

Henry Crutchfield, a 35-year-old man from Waldorf, Maryland, was fatally shot early Tuesday morning near Logan Circle in Northwest Washington, D.C., authorities confirmed.

Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 1600 block of 14th Street NW after receiving reports of gunfire around 4 a.m. Upon arrival, police found Crutchfield unresponsive and suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials are urging anyone with information to contact MPD at 202-727-9099 or submit anonymous tips via text to 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
