Harris County, Texas Woman Derricka Ross Arrested in Harris County for Fatal Shooting of Boyfriend

HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS — Derricka Ross, a 23-year-old resident of Harris County, was arrested in Harris County in connection with the fatal shooting of her boyfriend, 22-year-old Javion Williams, in an apartment stairwell over the weekend.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Ross was taken into custody on Saturday during a response to a disturbance and a separate call of shots fired at an apartment complex. Authorities say the incident occurred on the night of May 25, when Williams returned to the apartment to retrieve his belongings and was allegedly shot by Ross.

Ross was transported to the Harris County Jail and is currently facing a charge of murder related to the incident.
