Fatal Allen County motorcycle crash death of Charles Harrison Rainbolt Jr. – Obituary

Charles Harrison Rainbolt Jr., a 27-year-old man from Fort Wayne, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Maplecrest Road late Saturday evening. The crash took place near the intersection of Maplecrest and Monarch Drive at approximately 9 p.m.

Rainbolt was traveling southbound on Maplecrest when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a curb close to Monarch Drive. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene due to multiple blunt force injuries. The Allen County Coroner’s Office ruled the cause of death an accident.

This tragedy marks the 20th traffic fatality in Allen County this year. Local authorities, including city police, the coroner, and the Allen County prosecutor’s office, continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
