Fatal Tulsa police shooting death of Parker Grayson Brown – Obituary

Parker Grayson Brown, 29, was fatally shot by police officers in Tulsa on June 1, 2025, after allegedly ambushing first responders.

The incident began when officers responded to a call reporting a jogger who had been shot in the leg near Eisenhower International School around 56th and Harvard.

While assisting the injured jogger, Brown reportedly appeared from behind a fire truck and opened fire on the responding officers.

He fled the scene in a vehicle but was pursued by police to a cul-de-sac near 58th Street and Delaware Place. There, Brown allegedly fired again at the officers, who returned fire and killed him on the street. No first responders or neighbors were injured in the exchange.

The injured jogger was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. Officers involved in the shooting are currently on administrative leave pending investigation. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding this violent confrontation.
