David Bryant Estis dies in fatal Rio Linda car crash

Fatal Rio Linda car crash death of David Bryant Estis – Obituary

David Bryant Estis, a 47-year-old resident of Plumas Lake, was killed in a three-vehicle collision Saturday night in Rio Linda, authorities confirmed.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. along Rio Linda Boulevard, just south of Elkhorn Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, Estis was traveling in the wrong direction on the roadway when he struck another vehicle head-on. A third vehicle was also caught in the crash.

Investigators believe alcohol may have contributed to the incident. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office officially identified Estis following the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
