Clay Geib, a 50-year-old man from Oil City, was confirmed dead following a motorcycle accident on Monday, according to Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh. Emergency responders were called to the intersection of West Third Street and Central Avenue at 1:35 p.m., where Geib was found injured and later pronounced dead at UPMC Northwest Emergency Room.

The Oil City Police Department, Fire Department, Community Ambulance Service units, and a Life Flight helicopter all responded to the scene. Details surrounding the cause of the crash and Geib’s condition during the incident have not been released.
