Fatal Rotherham shooting death of Garry Claydon – Obituary

Garry Claydon, 54, was found dead early Sunday morning on Waddington Way in Parkgate, Rotherham, as police continue investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Officers responded to the scene at 6:47 a.m. on June 1 and discovered Claydon unresponsive. Despite emergency services’ efforts, he was pronounced dead at the location.

 

South Yorkshire Police arrested a 53-year-old man on suspicion of murder, who has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.

 

Detective Inspector Simon Cartwright of the Major Crime Unit expressed condolences to Claydon’s family and stressed the urgency of the investigation.
