Matthew Anthony Thimmesch dies in fatal Red Wing suspicious death

Fatal Red Wing suspicious death of Matthew Anthony Thimmesch – Obituary

Authorities in Red Wing, Minnesota, are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of 41-year-old Matthew Anthony Thimmesch, which they are treating as suspicious.

Emergency personnel from both the Red Wing police and fire departments were called to the 200 block of East Fifth Street around 6:22 a.m. last Friday after receiving a report of an unconscious man. Thimmesch was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

By Monday, officials were notified that Thimmesch had died. His death is now the subject of an investigation led jointly by the Red Wing Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
