Jacob Bloom, 30, was discovered dead on Tuesday afternoon in Lafayette, Indiana. Authorities responded to a call around 1:15 p.m. at the parking lot located at 2705 Concord Road, where officers found Bloom lying next to the driver’s side of a pickup truck.

A small-caliber handgun was also found near the scene. Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello said the case is being treated as a possible suicide, with a forensic autopsy scheduled for later this week to determine the exact cause of death.
