Fatal Mesa County moped crash death of Alex Rizor – Obituary
Alex Rizor, 32, tragically died in a moped accident on May 31st near North Avenue and 28 Road in Grand Junction, Mesa County. Rizor was riding eastbound on North Avenue when he crossed the median and crashed. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and sustained fatal injuries, dying at the scene.
The Grand Junction Police Department noted that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
