Fatal Falmouth motorcycle crash death of Kenneth Lavache – Obituary

Kenneth Lavache, a 65-year-old resident of Hudson, lost his life following a two-vehicle collision involving his motorcycle on Wednesday, June 4, in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

The incident occurred around 1:27 p.m. along West Falmouth Highway (Route 28), just south of Braeside Road in an area locally referred to as Wishing Moon Hill. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Lavache lying in the road with critical injuries. Emergency responders transported him to Falmouth Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police stated that the other driver involved remained at the scene and was also taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the crash was caused when a vehicle exited a shared driveway and entered West Falmouth Highway, failing to yield to Lavache’s oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the front driver’s side of the vehicle, throwing Lavache from his bike.

The Massachusetts State Police have taken over the investigation and continue to examine the details surrounding the fatal crash.
