Fatal Ridgecrest motorcycle crash death of John Gardner Turner Jr. – Obituary

John Gardner Turner Jr., an 85-year-old resident of Ridgecrest, California, passed away following a motorcycle collision on Highway 178 near North Calvert Boulevard on the evening of June 4, 2025. The crash occurred around 8:20 p.m., when Turner’s motorcycle collided with another vehicle.

Turner was quickly transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The California Highway Patrol conducted the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
