Authorities have identified 25-year-old Terrelle Rogers of Haynesville as the victim of a deadly shooting that took place in the Haynesville area of St James on Wednesday night.

The shooting occurred around 9:35 p.m. near the intersection of Hartland Road and Central Close. Reports indicate that Rogers was socializing in the area when multiple gunshots rang out. He was struck by the gunfire and collapsed at the scene.

Rogers was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private vehicle, but he later died from his injuries. A family member later confirmed his identity.
