Fatal Pontiac shooting death of Joseph J. Martin and Braden J. Martin – Obituary

Authorities in Pontiac have identified two men found fatally shot inside a residence on Thursday as Joseph J. Martin, 59, and his son Braden J. Martin, 25.

Livingston County Coroner Michael Renner confirmed that the two lived in the home located in the 600 block of South Oak Street, where their bodies were discovered around 3:30 p.m. Police have yet to disclose any details about what led to the shooting.

Autopsies have been completed, and law enforcement is currently speaking with relatives and others who may have relevant information.

Investigators are expected to release further updates on the case by Monday.
