Fatal Meigs County car crash death of Ethan Rose – Obituary

Seventeen-year-old Ethan Rose of Middleport, Ohio, lost his life in a deadly car crash on June 4 at the intersection of State Route 7 and Bradbury Road in Meigs County.

 

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that Rose was driving west on Bradbury Road when he did not yield at a stop sign, leading to a collision with a dump truck heading north on State Route 7. The impact caused both vehicles to strike a third vehicle traveling south on the same road.

 

Kimberly Roush, 51, who was also from Middleport, died in the crash alongside Rose. Emergency responders declared both individuals dead at the scene.

 

Others involved sustained only minor injuries and were taken to the hospital by Meigs County EMS. State Route 7 was shut down for approximately three hours following the incident.

 

Southern Local School District acknowledged the tragedy in a social media post. Updates regarding the crash are expected to continue through the WSAZ app.
