Fatal Greenville County South Carolina motorcycle crash death of Aleksandr Zhilevich – Obituary

Aleksandr Zhilevich, a 28-year-old man from Boiling Springs, was killed after his motorcycle collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 85 in Greenville County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened late Saturday night near mile marker 44. Zhilevich was riding a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on I-85 when he lost control and struck the back of a 2026 International tractor-trailer around 11:15 p.m. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. The truck driver was unharmed.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victim’s identity and has been working closely with the Highway Patrol in the ongoing inquiry.
