Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino dies in fatal Northwest DC stabbing

Fatal Northwest DC stabbing death of Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino – Obituary

Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino, 27, was killed early Sunday morning in a stabbing that occurred inside a residence located in the 4100 block of 7th Street NW, Washington, DC.

Around 12:30 a.m. on June 8, 2025, officers from the Fourth District responded to a report of a stabbing at the home. Upon entering the residence, they found Fuentes-Ferrufino suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency personnel from DC Fire and EMS attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities arrested the suspect at the location and recovered a knife believed to be used in the incident. Following further investigation, 25-year-old Leslie Flores of Northwest DC was taken into custody and formally charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed.

Police investigators determined the fatal stabbing was the result of a domestic dispute.
