In the early hours of Sunday, June 8, 2025, Johan Dominguez lost his life in a single-vehicle accident involving an SUV on South Mopac Expressway in Austin.

The crash occurred around 1:36 a.m., and Dominguez was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers from the Austin Police Department.

Five other individuals were in the SUV at the time of the collision. All were taken to a nearby hospital with various injuries, none of which were life-threatening. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
