James Wolf dies in fatal Arapahoe car crash

Fatal Arapahoe car crash death of James Wolf – Obituary

James Wolf, an 18-year-old from Cambridge, Nebraska, was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 6 just west of Arapahoe during the afternoon of Sunday, June 8.

Emergency responders from the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, and EMS units from Arapahoe and Cambridge were dispatched to the scene around 4 p.m. following reports of a serious crash.

 

Initial findings from the Nebraska State Patrol indicate that a westbound Ford Ranger veered across the centerline and collided with an oncoming Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling east.

 

Wolf, who was driving the Ford, was transported to a nearby hospital in Cambridge where he was pronounced dead. The Jeep’s driver and an infant passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated and released. A female adult passenger in the Jeep suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Bryan Health West Campus in Lincoln.

 

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
