Fatal Bakersfield shooting death of Fernando Espino Nava – Obituary

Fernando Espino Nava, 69, of Hanford, was found dead after a shooting in Bakersfield, authorities say.

The incident was reported on June 8, 2025, at approximately 7:04 p.m. when Nava’s body was discovered in the 8000 block of Blackburn Street in Fuller Acres, just north of Lamont.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident.
