Fatal Newton County hit and run death of Dominic Flowers – Obituary

Dominic Flowers, a 15-year-old teenager, lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 36 near Hummingbird Lane in Newton County on June 2.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver involved in the collision fled the scene following the incident that occurred on a Monday night.

Authorities have since taken a suspect into custody in connection with the deadly hit and run, continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Flowers’ tragic death.
