FULSHEAR, TEXAS — A murder suspect was arrested in Fulshear following a dramatic SWAT operation at a Chick-fil-A restaurant on FM 1463 on June 9.
According to the Houston Police Department, the suspect fled into the restaurant as SWAT officers pursued him, prompting a tense standoff that alarmed customers and bystanders. A second man involved in the incident surrendered peacefully in the parking lot. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with police helicopters overhead and officers urging people to leave the area. Some customers were prevented from entering or exiting the restaurant during the operation.
