Fatal McLean County motorcycle crash death of Robert B. Rish – Obituary

Robert B. Rish, a 38-year-old man from Anchor, Illinois, has been identified as the victim of a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a car in McLean County. The collision occurred on the morning of Thursday, June 12, 2025, near the intersection of 2600 East and 1500 North in Blue Mound Township, close to Ellsworth.

 

Emergency responders arrived around 7:30 a.m. and found Rish deceased at the scene. A preliminary autopsy indicated that he died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained during the impact. Toxicology results are still pending.

 

The other vehicle involved was a sedan driven by a juvenile male, who was taken to Carle BroMenn Medical Center with minor injuries by Colfax Ambulance.

 

The McLean County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
