Lafranz Deandre Wilson Jr., a 19-year-old resident of Florissant, was tragically found deceased in Dellwood near the junction of Chambers Road and West Florissant Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. The North County Police Cooperative (NCPC) confirmed his identity as the victim in an ongoing homicide probe.

Investigators were called to the scene following a multi-vehicle collision blocking the intersection. Amid the wreckage, officers discovered 24 shell casings and recovered three firearms—one reportedly fitted with a machine-gun conversion kit. While the precise cause of death has not yet been disclosed, police say evidence of gunfire at the scene suggests a violent confrontation preceded the crash.

Authorities have detained a 23-year-old suspect in connection with the incident. The case file has been forwarded to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further review and potential charges.
