Ethan Glaser, 36, tragically lost his life in a solo-vehicle crash on Scenic Drive in Albany on Friday afternoon. Authorities say the black Subaru Forester he was driving went off the roadway, slid down a steep embankment, and collided with a tree.
The incident was reported around 1:30 p.m., prompting a response from Benton County Sheriff’s deputies. Upon arrival, responders found Glaser deceased at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
According to initial findings, the Subaru had been heading south on Scenic Drive when the driver apparently lost control for unknown reasons. There were no other vehicles or passengers involved in the accident.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation into what caused the crash. Officials are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information to contact them.
