Fatal Searchlight car crash death of Laree Toft – Obituary

Laree Toft, 70, a resident of Searchlight, Nevada, lost her life early Friday morning in a single-vehicle accident on State Route 164, near mile marker 13. According to information from the Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m., and Toft, who was alone in the vehicle, was declared dead at the location.

Authorities stated that Toft was driving westbound in a silver Toyota Camry when the crash happened. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the incident, said NHP Trooper Jason Buratczuk.

The exact cause of the collision remains unknown as investigations continue.
