Fatal San Antonio shooting death of Lenger L. Villalobos Munoz – Obituary

Lenger L. Villalobos Munoz was fatally shot multiple times by a known acquaintance late Friday night in a violent incident on San Antonio’s Northeast Side.

The shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. near Bulverde Road and Naco-Perrin Boulevard. According to authorities, the suspect, who had a troubled past with Munoz, began firing on him outside his residence. Munoz attempted to escape by running into the house and up the stairs, but the suspect followed and continued firing, striking him several times.

Munoz succumbed to his injuries, and the suspect fled through a rear exit. Police later located the suspect’s abandoned vehicle near Highway 281 and Wurzbach Parkway. A manhunt is ongoing as authorities work to apprehend the shooter.

The investigation into the incident continues.
